I exited the client and quit MSI Afterburner and I saw the GOGG overlay for the first time in game. After a few tries, I finally got a notification in game for the match and that is because I restarted client without clicking on anything else and just waited for my guildie to initiate.Īfter I realised what he was going on about that the overlay was really slow on his end, I kinda realised that the matchmaking was done via the overlay and I started wondering if MSI Afterburner was the cause of the overlay not popping up for me since that happened to me on Steam for a few other games that called up the steam overlay. However if I have already clicked on Friend Match in client, I would have to kill the client and restart it (nothing else would work). My guildmate and I were trying to start a Friend Match but my client would "freeze" whenever I click on Friend Match but I was able to tab out and see his invite in GOGG chat and accept it there. In either case this issue has been resolved on Steam.

Steam overlay had this conflict a couple months back but it was fixed with Rivatuner 7.0.0 beta19 (still the latest version last I checked) whereby due to the changes with Windows 10 Creator's Update on how these things work, something about 64bit API or UWP stuff, but anyways I'm sure the devs can find out.
